Childhood Obesity with Students in OUR Classrooms

Some people may wonder why childhood obesity is relevant to them as teachers, but we have to understand that we can do things in our classroom that impact the development of our students. Childhood obesity is a large problem in our country, and as teachers we can do something about it in the classroom. Encourage your students to move, get them to think about their food, and educate them on their health.
We aren't teachers just so we can teach kids math formulas and historical dates. We are their role models.
